To prep, pull out the laces and insoles and place your shoes in a delicates bag (pro tip: a pillowcase works too) and toss them in the washing machines. Choose a gentle cycle with cold water and mild detergent. Next, steer clear of the dryer, and instead shake out any excess water and set aside to air dry. Shoes need a little extra TLC? Swap in some brand new laces and insoles.
